Pretty has found the different mediums nourish each other.  Her paper weavings and mixed media works explore the intersection of nature and technology.  Divided Landscape , a multi media piece evolved from a paper weaving  then to a tapestry. Divided  Landscape the tapestry was selected for the American Tapestry Biennial 8 that opened at the Elder Gallery , Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lincoln, Nebraska and will travel  American Textile History Museum in Lowell, MA opening January 20, 2011.  This piece has won first prize.
